Our weekly Sunday take out spot. Great food at excellent prices.
Recommend: Dumplings, Wontons, All the Chef Specials, Chicken Wings, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pork

Delivery is quick and they can take credit card orders over the phone. Terrific!

After "Hing fat" went downhill, "Great wall"  became my families go to chinese delivery spot.  I liked the various free item options they provide. I even gave them 4/5 stars at one point.  My updated review is now 2.5/5...
My family has noticed over the last year that the food is not as consistent. There will be times when the soup is great and times it is bland.  The dumplings are great 9/10 times.  They sometimes forget an item (like your sauce or a pint of rice) and will get it to you if you call back but now your food is colder. Situations like these turn the whole dinner convo south with complaints.  Even if your food is right its hard to enjoy if your family member is unsatisfied by their meal.  The red sauce makes everything taste better but without it those fried wontons lose a lot of their appeal.

    Waste is another issue:
They give a lot of sauces which go to waste if you don't limit them to what packets of sauces you actually want.  Sometimes the sauces are not evenly distributed like the time it was mostly hot sauce and mustard and if your like my family you mostly just need soy and Duck and 1-2 mustards.  Also w/ the steamed chicken  they give that brown sauce on the side and 1/2 the time even if you tell them NOT to give it to you they still will. How is that a problem? Well if your on a diet and it comes with it then your more tempted to break your diet. Also it is just another thing to clean and recycle.  Everyone has off days but I am pushing for my family to order entirely different food genre instead.
As someone who started counting calories this year, the cheat food I eat better be worth the time in the gym and I am finding more and more that this establishments food is not worth that.

In terms of customer service they are usually fine but sometimes they rush you off the phone. I realize they are busy but still...

    Portion size problems:
Anything w/ shrimp is NOT worth getting because they give you so little. The only exception to this rule is  the "18 fried shrimp app" which is arguably the best app on their menu (provided you get red sauce for dipping).

The best Chinese take out food in Fleetwood period! The prices are great and the food is fresh and tasty.

I just love Great Wall.  My usual go-to items are the vegetable lo mein, broccoli in garlic sauce, or shrimp & broccoli.  The woman who takes the orders and the delivery guys are always sweet.  I prefer Great Wall over Jade Garden which is a block over.  The food is less greasy and more fresh tasting.

I wouldn't say I am or am not a fan because it is the only Chinese spot that delivers so that's a huge plus for me. They are pricey!! For Chinese for 1 adult and 1 child $20 is way too much. I ordered 4 chicken wings with pork fried rice which was $6.75 -_- , beef with broccoli $6.50 -_- and crab Rangoon which by the way had no crab in them $4.50, good thing was it was a decent quantity. The food was decent, and of course I will continue to order from them.
